I have 'connected the dots' between awareness, movement, intuition and creativity to enhance the daily lives of people in my community.

Process Art

When we play with paint, paper, colour and form together in the studio, you will connect to your limitless creative force - that is always available to you because you already have it!  You will tap into the power of intuitive expression and connect with your authentic self.  Your quest will take you on a journey of wisdom, playfulness and possibilities!

What is Process Painting?

It's spontaneous painting that is focused on the process rather than a product.  It connects us with an inner spark - the same one that is there when we paint as children - ready to be ignited at any time.  It's easy, fun and anyone can do it and benefit from it, from beginners to experienced painters.  It's not about special techniques or how to make serious art.  It's about allowing yourself to play with painting while you tap into your intuition - and you already have everything you need to do it!

Research has shown that people who regularly practice process painting see a range of benefits such as calmness, relaxation, energy and boosted creativity in everyday life.  We have observed that tweaking that inner spark helps people to become more confident and better at innovative problem solving.  It starts with a pure white field of possibility and within minutes you find yourself - painting and playing around with brushes and colour!

During a huge snowstorm, Terry did a painting session with my two young boys, their friend and I. She kept the three very active boys enthralled for hours. We all learned how to relax into the creative process. It was a challenge for some of our personalities! I highly recommend her studio for people who are interested in exploring their creativity, or who simply want an entertaining way to spend an afternoon. We are lucky to have this gem of a small business in our town. It has sparked an interest in both my children and we will be heading her way for another session shortly.

What is Facilitated Collage?

This is a super-fun and interesting way to express ourselves through multi-media.  It's a combination of paint, colour, paper, glue, pictures, words . . . with surprising results.  Like process painting, it's a little journey of self-discovery that can be relaxing, exciting, calming . . . it's unique for each person, but always fun time well spent with fellow explorers.  This will remind you how much you enjoyed paint, scissors and glue when you were a kid!

Keep an eye out for special programs that I offer from time to time, or Contact me to chat about a custom experience for you, your family, friends or group!  Then . . .
Come to the Studio!

I have everything you need to start process painting in my bright and cozy studio.   All you have to do is show up and be ready to have some fun!  Groups can be two or more people of any age.   These are great activities for friends and family members, but even those who have just met here have a great time.  A fantastic idea for a special event like a birthday or anniversary.  Grandparents and grandchildren have a great time playing together!
