I have 'connected the dots' between awareness, movement, intuition and creativity to enhance the daily lives of people in my community.

Process Art

What would you paint if . . . you had no fear?  What would you paint if . . . there were no judgement or critique of your work?  What would you paint if . . . there were no one watching?  What would you paint if . . . you didn't know what would appear?  What would you paint if . . .

Imagine . . . Tapping into the source of your imagination and intuition . . . taking a mini-break, an escape to your own world where time melts away . . . connecting with your inner child - the one who is relaxed, spontaneous, joyful . . . finding your authentic expression in a supportive and non-judgemental environment . . . experiencing joy from your own freedom of expression . . . embracing the 'not knowing' and leaping into your own journey, step-by-step.  You can!

What is Process Painting?

It's an opportunity to connect with your imagination and your intuition!  We are all born with a creative spirit and expressing ourselves freely is as natural as say - drawing a picture with a crayon, singing in the shower or choosing what to wear!  Even if we don't pursue 'artistic' avenues, we are creative in so many simple and diverse ways every day.  But, sometimes, we get a bit 'stuck' or blocked and we would like to open the door to our creative spirit a little wider!  It's SO easy to do and the benefits are numerous!

Research has shown that people who regularly practice process painting see a range of benefits such as calmness, relaxation, energy and boosted creativity in everyday life.   It starts with a pure white field of possibility and within minutes you find yourself - painting and playing around with brushes and colour!

Process painting happens in a series of at least four sessions of 1.5 or two hours each session.  Pricing based on number of people in the group.

During a huge snowstorm, Terry did a painting session with my two young boys, their friend and I. She kept the three very active boys enthralled for hours. We all learned how to relax into the creative process. It was a challenge for some of our personalities! I highly recommend her studio for people who are interested in exploring their creativity, or who simply want an entertaining way to spend an afternoon. We are lucky to have this gem of a small business in our town. It has sparked an interest in both my children and we will be heading her way for another session shortly.

What is Facilitated Collage?

This is a super-fun and interesting way to express ourselves through multi-media.  It's a combination of paint, colour, paper, glue, pictures, words . . . with surprising results.  Like process painting, it's a little journey of self-discovery that can be relaxing, exciting, calming . . . it's unique for each person, but always fun time well spent with fellow explorers.  This will remind you how much you enjoyed paint, scissors and glue when you were a kid!

Facilitated collage sessions are at least two hours in length.

Keep an eye out for special programs that I offer from time to time, or Contact me to chat about a custom experience for you, your family, friends or group!  Then . . .
